We offer damp and pre-purchase checks for caravans and motorhomes – be careful out there when buying, we know of lots of horror stories..! This does not include self builds

Pre-purchase check prices for caravans, campervans and motorhomes are dependent on the customer. For a touring caravan we would recommend a minimum check of:

Damp / Water ingress, visual inspection of bodywork and floor, visual inspection of chassis condition, road lights, cables and plugs, wheels, tyres and brakes, provisional gas system check, visual inspection of all appliances, visual inspection of electrical system, 12v and 230v. Check of water systems / toilet.

For a campervan we would recommend a minimum check of:

Cables and plugs, electrical systems, 12v and 230v, provisional gas system check, visual inspection of all appliances. Operation of all furniture, rock n roll beds. Check of all water systems.

For a motorhome we would recommend a habitation check. The motorhome check will not include chassis and vehicle mechanical components such as engine and other drive components.
