- Payment is due strictly on completion of the work carried out, unless prior arrangement has been agreed.
- Payment to be made by Cash, Direct Bank Transfer, PayPal, Debit Card or Credit Card
- Prior to work being carried out, a FULL visual inspection will be carried out internally and externally, with notes of any damage, stains etc being recorded and photographed as necessary to ensure the protection of the owner and the engineer.
- Servicing will be carried out to the highest standard to ensure the safety of the owner.
- All workmanship is warranted for 12 months providing no unauthorised changes or modifications are made which affect the already completed work.
- Where, during a service, a fault is found which is beyond the normal service schedule, the owners permission to repair or replace will be obtained before such work is carried out. An excess charge for the time and parts will be made.
- For pre booked set charge services, the call out charge will be waived.
- Please ensure the Engineer is able to gain access to the caravan/motorhome and all keys are available for security devices etc, otherwise the Call Out Fee will be applied.
- It is the OWNERS responsibility to ensure that access is available at the time and date agreed for Servicing, and that there is sufficient clearance to access the wheels and external equipment and that the interior of the vehicle is clear of obstructions to the internal equipment which needs access to service. Lockers empty and floor area clear.
- It is the owners responsibility that trailers are cleaned to an acceptable level allowing safe, suitable access to parts.
- Trailers must be unloaded before any work commences.
- The toilet cassette MUST be EMPTY and CLEAN or the toilet will NOT be serviced.
- Parts, all parts used will be OEM specification and are chargeable in addition to labour at the lowest available price possible.
- Special order parts are NOT refundable and will include carriage costs as appropriate.
- All wheels will be torqued to the correct setting and customer will be asked to sign that this was done before engineer leaves
- On completion of works all appliances will be turned off from source
- Customer will be asked to the sign paperwork after completion and in doing so you have fully checked all items in caravan/motorhome are fully Switched off – Engineer will have no liability after that point
Whilst every effort has been made by Calon Caravan Services in the service / inspection of your vehicle / trailer to ensure you have a trouble free year, the service / inspection is only valid on the day of the service and does not imply any warranty, guarantee, or life expectancy of the caravan / motor home or appliances and fittings.
Calon Caravan Services provides a 12 months warranty on workmanship and repairs to our customers. This does not in any way affect our customers statutory rights.
Parts:
New parts warranty is in accordance with the manufacturers own warranty terms.
Electronic repairs are warranted by the company carrying out the repair and on the repair part ONLY not the complete unit.
We do not fit refurbished parts, except in the case of the OEM. Customer supplied or second-hand units will not be fitted as we are unable to warrant the part or the works carried out
Labour:
The scope of warranty for defective labour carried out is valid for a 12 month period.
- All warranty claims must be reported to Calon Caravan Services
- Any warranty repair must be authorised by Calon Caravan Services before commencement of any repair works
- Unauthorised repair claims will not be accepted
- Warranty will not extend to consequential damage
- Fair wear and tear is not covered by warranty
- Incorrect operation or misuse and abuse will render the respective warranty claim invalid.
